South Korean automotive giant Kia Motors has released a teaser video dedicated to the upcoming premiere of the five-door Proceed Shooting Brake. The vehicle belongs to the third generation of the Ceed family.
The manufacturer had previously used the word “Proceed” to name its three-door hatchback model, but that one has been officially discontinued. The lineup will include the Shooting Brake, a five-door hatchback, a five-door estate, and perhaps an SUV.
The Kia Proceed Concept debuted at the Frankfurt International Motor Show in 2017. It featured a heavily slanting panoramic sunroof and 20-inch wheels.
It is rumored that the next-generation Proceed will ship in base with a turbocharged gasoline engine capable of around 200 hp (150 kW).
The next portion of information will be released on September 13, 2018, so stay tuned. The car will celebrate its live premiere at the Paris motor show in October.
