South Korean car manufacturer Kia has come to New York with a custom version of the 2020 Telluride crossover. Even though the car is a one-of-a-kind concept, one may still use it to draw conclusions about the production vehicle.
The modded Kia Telluride sports revised bumpers, a winch, skid plates, snorkel for deep water crossing, 20-inch wheels wrapped in off-road tires, and recovery hooks.
The crossover also has a custom roof rack made of aluminum and wood, a ladder for easy roof access, and a spare wheel housing on the rear door.
The interior of the vehicle more or less corresponds to what can be found in the current model, although there are still occasional natural wood inserts to be found. The dashboard, doors and steering wheel are wrapped in what is reminiscent of saddle leather.
The manufacturer promises to reveal the eight-seat CUV in January 2018. Once out, it will have to compete with the Subaru Ascent and Chevrolet Traverse in their market segment.
