Kia has revealed the first design sketch of its new Carnival MPV, which is also known as Sedona in some countries.

Domestic sales start in the third quarter of 2020, followed by the international launch some time later.

The sketch shows the Korean version of the minivan, which the developer claims looks quite a bit like an SUV, too. Note the signature “tiger-nose” grille at the front that incorporates some hi-tech headlights. There is also a waistline running down the sides spanning the entire length of the car and visually uniting the headlights and brake lights.

The technical specs remain unannounced thus far, but some sources suggest that the new Carnival will hit the domestic market with an improved version of its 2.2-liter turbo diesel and a brand-new 2.5-liter V4 TFSI. A hybrid spec might also be underway, but please keep in mind that this is pure speculation at the moment, and none of it has been confirmed yet.
