2021 Kia Carnival revealed in detail ahead of August launch

The facelifted Kia Carnival is going on sale in South Korea in August, as well as other markets later on. Let us see what is on offer.

The update brings along off-road features such as larger fender flares, lower body protection and a muscular-looking hood design.

The interior is where most of the changes take place. Here, Kia actively draws upon its latest Sorento model, fitting the Carnival with the same 12.3-inch infotainment screen that nearly seamlessly transitions into the digital dashboard. Switching between gears now occurs via a selector knob, and the air vents are brought together to form one long vent unit. The MPV now ships in 7-, 9- and 11-seat versions.

On its domestic market, the 2021 Carnival can be obtained with a 2.2L diesel (202 PS / 150 kW) or a 3.5L V6 (294 PS /217 kW).
