Kia EV6 shows up on live shots

After looking at some official pics of the upcoming Kia EV6, the electric car has come out for some road tests.

Despite the thick camo, you can still get a pretty clear idea of its proportions, dimensions, roof, glass, headlights, and wheels. The body sports an aerodynamic shape, the hood is rather short, the door handles slide out, the lights all around are LED-based, and there are two rear spoilers.

Novelty inside includes a two-spoke steering wheel, a dual-tier center console, an HVAC with tactile controls, and a large screen that combines a digital dash and an infotainment system. The seats are lighter and thinner than in other Kia models, and the trim makes use of environmentally clean materials.

All powertrain details will soon be revealed during an official presentation event. The EV6 is expected to use the E-GMP chassis and Hyundai Ioniq 5 powertrain. The Ioniq 5 can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.2 seconds and has around 480 km (300 miles) of range.
