Following the premiere of its all-electric sports utility vehicle, the EV6, Kia has now revealed all the relevant performance specifications and trim details.
The base version is offered with a 58-kWh traction battery linked to a sole electric motor good for 170 PS (168 hp / 125 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. Paying extra will get you a dual-engine setup with the same battery, 235 PS (232 hp / 173 kW) and 605 Nm (446 lb-ft) of torque.
A larger 77.4-kWh battery will be available in two specifications: RWD, rated at 228 PS (225 hp / 168 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque, and AWD, capable of 325 PS (321 hp / 239 kW) and 605 Nm (446 lb-ft).
Finally, the range-topping Kia EV6 GT will hit the asphalt with 589 PS (581 hp / 433 kW) and 740 Nm (546 lb-ft) of torque. This will enable it to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.5 seconds and only hit the speed ceiling at 260 km/h (161 mph).
The longest-range spec will have 510 kilometers (317 miles) of WLTP-rated range and will be able to restore 80% of charge within 18 minutes.
Other equipment highlights include a heads-up display, 12-inch dashboard and infotainment screens, a 14-channel Meridian audio, a parking assistant, and a sophisticated cruise control system.
