The South Korean automaker claims it has registered over twenty-one thousand online preorders for its upcoming EV6 model within 24 hours from reveal.
The company does not reveal the total preorder count in Europe, but Hyundai gave us a good reference point by amassing 236,000 Ioniq 5 orders in Europe in a week’s time.
To reserve your own EV6, a refundable €100 deposit is necessary. Shipments should begin in September, and customers who finalize their purchase before December 31 will be getting a free year of EV charging at Ionity terminals.
