Kia has posted a teaser pic showing some of the exterior of its K3 sedan, also known as Forte or Cerato on certain markets. The official unveiling will take place in Mexico City on August 8, at 8 P.M. local time.
 Rumor has it that, rather than being a direct replacement to the old K3 generation (see video), the new K3 will be succeeding the Rio sedan. Since the fourth-gen Rio has been around since 2016, it would make sense for it to get a facelift first. The third-gen K3 only came out in 2018, so it is still technically younger.
The announcement is posted on the manufacturer’s global website, meaning that the car will most likely be sold worldwide.
Other than that, we have more questions than answers regarding the new Rio, so it would probably be best to just wait until the premiere instead of speculating.
