The next-gen KIA K900 to premiere in New York

The North America subdivision of KIA Motors Corporation has told the media that the latest KIA K900 sedan would premiere during the New York International Auto Show on March 30th – April 8th, 2018.

The same vehicle is internationally known as KIA K9 or KIA Quoris.

That’s about all we know about the facelifted car by now. One may speculate it gets a sportier-looking exterior, reworked interior finishing and some of the latest electronics / tech available.

More important, however, is the reason why the company went for the model update. Only around 500 current-gen KIA K900 sedans were sold in the U.S.A. in the entire 2017. With a U.S. price tag of $49,900, it definitely needed a few improvements.

The current KIA K900 / K9 / Quoris ships with a 3.8-liter V6 that outputs 311 hp and 396 Nm.
