Kia KX3 for China debuts at Auto Huangzhou

The South Korean automaker has pretty much copied its internationally sold Seltos SUV (see video) for the main Asian market.

The two share the easily recognizable Kia design, including the signature radiator grille, the LED headlights and the taillights. The cabin is considerably different in the Chinese version, including new trim materials and differently styled dashboard and center console. The KX3 sports a (larger) 10.25-inch multimedia touchscreen.

The Chinese Seltos also packs a wide range of electronic assists, including 360-degree cameras, parking sensors, and anti-collision features.

Powering the KIA KX3 is a 1.5-liter gasoline engine (G4FL) rated at 115 hp (86 kW). The transmission is six-speed manual in the base version, but a CVT is also available. The drive is on the front axle.
