The South Korean automaker works on expanding its military transports range. In 2021, the company will be unveiling a new buggy based on the Mohave platform and tech.
The off-roader will be used by the motorized troops of the national army and will later debut as a civilian, road-legal vehicle for active leisure enthusiasts. The carmaker also plans to implement some of its innovative technologies in future road-legal SUVs.
This wouldn’t be the first time Kia produced a military vehicle series. You may peek into our gallery and watch the video for just a few earlier examples. Furthermore, in November last year the marque won the contract for the development of a range of army vehicles with varying weight capacity and purposes.
