The Korean automaker’s large body-on-frame SUV seems to be on its way out after 16 years in production.
According to the reports of South Korean mass media that remain to be officially confirmed, the company plans to assemble the final Mohave examples at its Hwaseong factory in late 2024. The reason is as simple as low demand: only a few hundred units get sold worldwide these days.
The freed production capacities will be utilized for the assembly of the company’s other frame-based workhorse – the Kia Tasman truck.
