Kia has officially unveiled its new Picanto hatchback for Europe, scheduled to arrive in dealerships in the third quarter of 2020. There are slight aesthetic changes, as well as a new DCT and revised engine selection.
The mid-life refresh introduces a redesigned radiator grille, front bumper, headlights and 16-inch wheels. Its inside space is largely similar to the Korean spec now, with an 8-inch multimedia screen sitting on the center console and another display tucked in between the instrument gauges.
The Picanto will no longer ship with the old 1.2-liter, four-cylinder non-turbo engine rated at 84 hp (63 kW). Both three-cylinder options remain on the lineup, one producing 67 hp (50 kW) and the other 100 hp (75 kW). Another important addition comes in the shape of the Hyundai i10 dual-clutch transmission, which you can opt for instead of manual.
As stated above, the first cars should arrive to their owners in the third quarter of the year.
