The South Korean automotive giant KIA has held an official presentation of the latest 2018 Ray compact van. The car is now available domestically with a price tag of 13,150,000 Won.
The facelifted model of KIA Ray is based on the same modular platform used by the Picanto hatchback. Its dimensions stay unchanged from the previous version.
The exterior appearance of the car is different, though, with a new radiator grille, some decorative moldings, and reshaped lights. Passenger seats can be accessed via sliding doors, while the front seats come with regular club doors.
The interior of the latest KIA Ray features a unique steering wheel we haven’t seen before, and a modern sensor-enabled multimedia system. The driver takes advantage of wheel warm-up, a set of airbags, button-triggered ignition, climate control, and a few other options.
The compact van should be available with a reworked one-liter gasoline engine with 78 hp.
