KIA Motors Corporation
officially declassified the restyling KIA Sorento for the European market.
Recall, in South Korea, the updated crossover was presented this summer.
Externally,
"fresh" KIA Sorento differs from its predecessor with other bumpers,
a new radiator grille and revised lighting equipment. Plus, the manufacturer
has provided sets of new alloyed wheel disks of 17, 18 and 19 inches.
In the interior of the
restyling crossover, quality finishing materials, a new steering wheel, a
modified climate control system, an advanced infotainment system with an eight-inch
touch screen, navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.
The engine range will
include diesel engines: 2.0-liter CRDi with 185 horsepower and 200-strong CRDi
with a capacity of 2.2 liters, as well as a 2.4-liter gasoline engine GDI,
generating 188 horsepower. Transmission will be 6-speed "mechanics",
6- and 8-band "automatic".
The public debut of the
updated KIA Sorento 2018 model year for Europe will be held in September at the
International Motor Show in Frankfurt am Main.
