The 2021 Sorento should go on sale in North America before the end of the year. Prices are pending, but there is a new trim version called X-Line.
The Sorento X-Line comes with wheel arch extensions, redesigned front and rear bumpers, a suspension lift (ground clearance: 8.25 inches / 211 mm), roof railings, and special 20-inch rims.
The X-Line also boasts AWD, torque vectoring, Snow Mode, and an inter-axle diff lock. Engine specs remain unannounced.
The standard Sorento packs a 2.5-liter turbocharged engine rated at 285 hp / 213 kW, which comes to replace the old V6. It hooks onto an eight-speed DCT box. Other alternatives include a non-turbo engine (194 hp / 144 kW) and two hybrid specs with 48 kilometers (30 miles) of all-electric range at most.
