Kia unveils new Sorento-based concepts

Kia has shared pics of two custom Sorento builds targeting active leisure enthusiasts. The cars are named Zion and Yosemite after U.S. national parks.

Both SUVs sport skid plates, flared fenders, special wheels and unique paintjobs. The Yosemite is meant to be driven in forests and mountains, while the Zion favors canyons and deserts.

Most of the differences between the two are in smaller details, such as the wheel design, the body paint scheme, and the roof rack/light bar design.

California-based tuner LGE-CTE Motorsports is responsible for the project. Both cars got to keep their stock 2.5-liter T-GDi mills rated at 285 PS (281 hp / 210 kW) while getting suspension lifts and off-road-friendly AWD system tweaks.
