Kia has released a gallery showing its updated Sorento SUV. The front end now resembles the marque’s EVs, and the interior has been revised. The engine lineup will remain a mystery until the premiere next month.
Exterior highlights include revised headlamps with Y-shaped sections, a large radiator grille missing its usual frame, and a moved Kia badge. The taillights sport new signatures, and the bumpers at both ends have been reworked, too.
Compared to the pre-facelift version (see video), the dashboard now houses two displays. Air vents all around had to be redesigned in order to accommodate these new screens. In contrast, the HVAC control panel is no longer capacitive – it is now styled as a compact button pad. Kia promises fingerprint-based access and new trim options, but they remain to be revealed.
