The 2024 Kia Soul for the United States has only minimal changes to show for being new and gets a modest premium over the pre-facelift version. The main novelty is a new trim version called EX Designer.
In its most basic implementation called LX, the Soul now starts from U.S. $21,315 – $230 more than the old version. The next trim, S, costs $23,815. GT-Line will set you back $24,915, and the top spec will lighten your account by at least $25,615.
Opting for the EX Designer package adds 18-inch alloy wheels and upgrades the interior to a color scheme known as Umber. The main materials are fabric and leatherette.
Aside from the above, all cars equipped with a keyless entry system and an engine start button get a special mode called Sleep Mode. As long as the car remains in Sleep Mode, it cannot be opened by carjackers using fake key fobs.
Regardless of your chosen trim level, the new Soul will be available exclusively with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 147 hp (149 PS / 109 kW).
