The Kia Sportage SUV screams ‘sports’ at you with its very model name, but its suspension is just too soft to be called sporty. If this resonates with you, H&R has aftermarket suspension springs to fix things.
The kit, which costs a mere €291, lowers the SUV by around 35 millimeters (1.4 inches) on both axles, thus improving acceleration and cornering performance. The company claims the shorter/stiffer springs are still soft enough not to affect your long-term driving comfort. They also don’t compromise much field-of-view, because the Sportage series has its seats mounted rather high up.
The kit is compatible with all model year 2016 and newer cars. The AWD version is also supported, although at just 30 mm (1.2”), the lowering is marginally less effective. Finally, H&R Trak+ wheel spacers can help you fine-tune the wheel positions in their respective arches. These start from €129 per axle.
