Car spies over at Carscoops have nabbed a refreshed Kia Sportage running around somewhere in Europe. The abundant camo suggests that it’s still far from finalized, and may change drastically before production.
Vertical headlights with slim DRL sections can be seen relatively well through the camo. The taillights also look different – both in terms of the light pattern and the shape. Given how bold and experimental the lights on the pre-facelift Sportage looked, we wouldn’t be surprised if the company decided to tone it down somewhat in the mid-life refresh.
The same seems to apply to the radiator grille and the bumpers, both of which look considerably modified. The body panels all around also seem reworked, but it’s hard to tell with all the wrapping going on. Interior photos remain to be snapped, but we expect a major infotainment update there, along with some iterative ADAS improvements. Whether anything will change in the powertrain department is unclear at this time.
