A Kia dealership in Orlando, USA has revealed a Stinger GT liftback with its roof sawn off, its wheels and exhaust system replaced, side sills made of carbon fiber, and hood augmented with cooling vents.
The custom build features a retractable soft top and comes powered by the stock 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 rated at 370 PS (365 hp / 272 kW) and 510 Nm (376 lb-ft). This won’t be the case for long, however, because the company intends to boost it to 500 PS (493 hp / 368 kW). The increased torque may necessitate some changes in the eight-speed automatic transmission, too.
The topless GTC comes out in a small batch of 12 production units.
