YouTuber Sam CarLegion has brought three equally sporty cars together on a drag strip: a Kia Stinger GT went up against an Audi S5 and its maxed-out modification, the RS 5. All three were tuned to around 500 horsepower.
The S5 is the obvious outsider of the race with only an ECU software update and minimal hardware modifications going for it. Even so, it still delivers 450 PS (444 hp / 331 kW) and 529 Nm (390 lb-ft) of torque to the wheels. Furthermore, it is 100 kilos (220 pounds) lighter than the RS 5 liftback and 80 kilos (176 lbs) lighter than the Kia.
In turn, the RS enjoys a remapped ECU, a catless high-flow exhaust system and other significant upgrades culminating in 530 PS (523 hp / 390 kW) and 651 Nm (485 lb-ft) of torque.
Last but not least, the Stinger is the most powerful of the trio thanks to a new intake and a methanol injection system. Its output reaches as high as 565 PS (557 hp / 416 kW) and 746 Nm (550 lb-ft) of torque.
The race took place at the Dunnville Autodrome in Canada. How do you think the three lined up at the finish? Check out the full 8-minute video for some interesting insights.
