The Sweden-based hyper car maker Koenigsegg Automotive AB has recently published a video showing their latest creation Koenigsegg Agera RS accelerating to a dizzying 457,94 km/h (284,55 mph).
As it turned out, the video was filmed in Nevada, U.S.A. in November 2017. The new speed record entry was made by averaging the results of two trial runs.
There is still more to it, however. Koenigsegg Agera RS broke quite a few other records during its Nevada run. For instance, the vehicle made 0-400-0 km/h (that’s 0-249-0 mph) in mere 33.29 seconds.
The ultimate hyper car Koenigsegg Agera RS draws its power from a 5-liter twin-turbo V8 monster engine with an astounding 1360-horsepower output. Driven by it, the vehicle needs less than 3 seconds to accelerate 0-100 km/h (0-60 mph).
