Koenigsegg launches a racing wear collection

The Swedish hypercar manufacturer has teamed up with Chimi to launch Forca-G, a clothing collection consisting of a racing jacket and a pair of glasses. Both are manufactured from the same lightweight and durable materials Koenigsegg is using for its cars.

As one would expect, the production run is limited and the prices are steep. The jacket costs $1,800 and is made from a special fabric that is 60% woven from metal alloy strands. The material guarantees wind and moisture protection while still allowing the skin to breather, the company claims. It comes padded with jacquard fabric adorned with the Koenigsegg logo.

The sunglasses cost $600 and feature a titanium-alloy frame. Like the hypercars they are styled after, the glasses are low-drag. They also feature mineral lenses that ensure 100% protection from long-wavelength UV light.
