The hypercar builder Koenigsegg has announced that the production of the top-performance Agera RS hypercar series is now complete. A total of 25 cars rolled off the assembly lines, each custom-built to suit the tastes of its future owner.
The Koenigsegg Agera RS has previously scored five new world records, including the one for the fastest-going production vehicle in history. Company engineers are now putting some finishing touches on two Final Edition vehicles. Once these have shipped, Koenigsegg will switch to mass production of the hybrid-powered Koenigsegg Regera.
In its base version, the spectacular Koenigsegg Agera RS comes with a twin-turbo V8 engine delivering up to 1,176 hp (877 kW) and 1,280 Nm (944 lb·ft) of torque.
