The Swedish hypercar builder Koenigsegg has revealed Thor and Vader, two new hypercars based on the Agera RS platform.
It should be mentioned that the Agera RS is the fastest-going production car in the world with a speed record of 444 km/h (276 mph) set last year. Being based on the same main architecture, Thor and Vader may as well surpass that mark.
The two cars have been produced and assembled in the company’s own works in Ängelholm, Sweden. Both the Koenigsegg Thor and the Koenigsegg Vader wear unique body kits and come equipped with the complete range of options and tech-heavy features the manufacturer has at its disposal.
The official world premiere of the two resplendent hypercars will take place at the impending Goodwood Festival of Speed in England.
In an earlier news, Koenigsegg said it discontinued the production of the Agera RS series, which had been around since 2015. Only 25 vehicles have rolled off the assembly lines, each packing a 5.0-liter V8 engine capable of up to 1,360 hp (1,014 kW) with the 1MW option package installed.
