They say Floyd Mayweather, U.S. boxing legend, has personally commissioned this unique exhaust system from Boden AutoHaus. Allegedly, the unit had cost him U.S. $25,000.
Why so much? Because Floyd is a happy (we hope) owner of a Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita hypercar, which exists in two copies worldwide. The vehicle crashed the party at the 2008 Geneva International Motor Show in Switzerland packing 1,032 horsepower (770 kilowatts) along with 1,080 Newton-meters (800 pound-feet) under the hood. It could accelerate past 400 km/h (250 mph).
Despite the $4,800,000 starting price tag, Koenigsegg asked sizeable premiums for such extras as satellite navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, and a reversing camera. It offered no alternatives for the standard exhaust system, though.
This is what Boden AutoHaus fixed when it designed a fully titanium exhaust system for the CCXR Trevita. Want to listen to it sing? Hit ‘Play’.
