Koenigsegg has put its Jesko Absolut hypercar on a dyno machine, and it generated enough thrust to go 500 km/h (310 miles per hour).
According to brand founder and CEO, Christian von Koenigsegg, this is how the company was finally able to determine that its latest creation was capable of reaching 500 kilometers per hour. The number was theorized, but never actually proven due to the lack of a suitable stretch of perfectly smooth tarmac.
According to Koenigsegg, the company’s engineering department is positive that the car is every bit as capable of reaching this acceleration in real-world conditions as it was on the dyno.
