Have you noticed how Garage54 just never fails to deliver when it comes to bonkers car builds? A few days ago, the Russia-based tuner fitted a Lada VAZ-2106 with an exhaust tailpipe shaped like a six-barreled machine gun.
The guys explicitly state it is a fake minigun that won’t mow you down with a shower of lead if you dare pull up to it from behind on a speedway. But let’s be frank, being in the general vicinity of someone who goes in for such peculiar forms of tuning could be construed as… opportunistic, to say the least. Fake or not fake.
On a side note, the VAZ-2106 “Shorty” depicted here has undergone plenty of prior modifications, including having its body shortened from four-door sedan to two-door coupe. At certain points of time, it had also received a bespoke exhaust system made completely out of wood, as well as a whole array of trunk-mounted audio speakers complete with a subwoofer and amplifier – a “sound pollution system for the environment”, to use the tuner’s own words.
