Following the production start a month ago, LADA has officially started sales of the XRAY Cross, its first crossover/SUV equipped with the CVT transmission of the Renault Logan Stepway City, Sandero Stepway City, and Kaptur.
Prices begin at 842,000 Russian Rubles (approx. 13,350 USD) and culminate close to 967,000 RUB (15,350 USD). The series still ships with the old 1.6-liter Renault H4M engine that pre-2016 XRAY models had, albeit slightly tweaked to deliver 113 hp (84 kW) along with 152 Nm (112 lb-ft) of torque. Back when it was still paired with manual transmission, the same unit produced 110 hp (82 kW) and 150 Nm (110 lb-ft).
Like before. the SUV has 215 millimeters (8.4 inches) of ground clearance. The gear selector is the same as in the Renault Logan/Sandero, but the Ride Select knob is no longer present.
In its top trim called Luxe Prestige, the car ships with a new multimedia system that supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and features a high-resolution touch-enabled display.
