The legendary Italian
supercar manufacturer showed an open version of the Aventador S model with a
removable top.
The car in the body of the
"roadster" is equipped with rigid removable roof panels weighing
about six kilograms. They can be made of matte black carbon fiber or from a
similar glossy material. The panels are quickly removed and placed in the
luggage compartment in the front of the Lamborghini Aventador S.
The equipment of the
supercar included a revised aerodynamic carbon cloth, a retuned suspension with
adaptive shock absorbers and a fully controlled chassis.
To the usual driver modes
Strada, Sport and Corsa one more new Ego was added, which allows the driver to
choose the settings convenient for him.
The heart of the Lamborghini
Aventador S roadster is the 6.5-liter twelve-cylinder atmospheric unit that
generates 740 "horses". Acceleration from start to the first
"hundreds" supercar makes in 3 seconds, and its maximum speed - 350
km/h.
The novelty will officially
be presented in September at the motor show in Frankfurt am Main. Sales of the
Lamborghini Aventador S roadster in Europe will start in February next year. The price of a supercar will start from 313 666
euros.
