Lamborghini CEO Stefano Domenicali has revealed a few bits of information concerning the company’s new, fourth car model that is currently in the works. He said it would be a four-seat Gran Turismo vehicle.
In a recent interview, Domenicali said the company was already working on the new supercar, but wouldn’t release it unless the sales went up in the next five years.
Lamborghini unveiled a four-door Estoque Concept in 2008. It is quite likely that the new GT vehicle will inherit some of its design features.
The Estoque packed a Gallardo 5.2 V10 engine situated in its front part and working in tandem with a seven-speed semi-automatic transmission. The company said back then that, if the car were to make it into actual production, it would arrive priced at U.S. $230,000.
