The Japanese car customization atelier Liberty Walk has come to the Tokyo Tuning Show 2018 with a highly unusual take on the classical Lamborghini Miura. Photos of the vehicle, which was designed in the Japanese Kaido Racer style, were published online by a visitor of the show.
Perhaps the most peculiar fact is that Liberty Walk never obtained an original car and instead built a close replica with an all-new body. The chassis and the engine were taken from a Ford GT40 sports car. The latter used to be produced with a powerful 7.0-liter V8 motor capable of 485 horsepower with 644 Nm torque.
The original Lamborghini Miura supercar has been manufactured from 1966 through 1973 and came with a 3.9-liter V12 engine rated at 350 hp. A grand total of 763 vehicles have been produced.
