Italian automaker Lamborghini will be unveiling a new supercar on Friday, August 18. The company does not specify what it will be, but earlier announcements leave no doubt that it is going to be the marque’s first all-electric vehicle.
The only teaser pic available so far provides a profile view of the top half of the car, particularly the roofline and the glass dome shape. The familiar design of gas-powered Lamborghinis is evident here as well, with prevalent sharp edges but smoother-than-usual body outlines.
All we know on official terms right now is that the world’s first all-electric Lamborghini is a four-seat Grand Tourer. No technical specifications have been revealed, but the live premiere may shed light on some details. The mass production will not begin until 2028.
