Lamborghini previews its firstborn EV

The Lamborghini Lanzador is a three-door SUV concept with a 2+2 seat layout and more than one megawatt of power (1,360+ PS, or 1,341+ hp).

Certain exterior design traits resemble the Urus and the Huracan Sterrato, while the headlights installed over large air intakes evoke associations with the 15-year-old Estoque Concept. The taillights show Estoque and Sian influences, and there is a bulky diffuser at the rear bumper.

The trunk area looks impressively large, and all buyers will be getting a set of travel bags with their purchase. The rear seats can be folded to maximize luggage space, but the headrests remain in their fixed positions.

Inside, there is a futuristic-looking dashboard with digital instruments and a dedicated front passenger’s display. There is no traditional infotainment screen – its place is occupied by a tapering console extension with multiple niches below, USB ports, cup holders and the like.

The company’s current plans involve producing the Lanzador in a strictly limited production run to preview the technologies the company intends to use in its future supercars. Only the most loyal Lamborghini owners will be allowed to place a reservation.
