Even when empty, the Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce Jota weighs in at a healthy 1,525 kilos (3,362 lb) – in other words, not a pound too little for a supercar. Those of you who wouldn’t mind your Lambo shedding 1 percent of its total weight all at once would do well to consider this purpose-built aftermarket exhaust system by Valentino Balboni, the Italian manufacturer’s former test driver.
Before retiring in 2008, Balboni had been assisting Lambo in designing and testing its vehicles for decades. In 2016, he founded his own company named ‘VB’ with the view to produce aftermarket exhaust solutions for the Raging Bull lineup. In fact, you will notice the obvious bullhorn shape of the product depicted here.
The entire exhaust is made of titanium and weighs in at a pathetic 4.66 kilos (8.8 lb). VB says it will only release 78 of these, with the first 15 getting signed by Valentino Balboni himself.
The prices remain unannounced, but what difference do they make anyway to the owners of U.S. $500,000 supercars, right?
