Onyx Concept set to produce 25x Lamborghini Aventador SX

British car tuner Onyx Concept has announced a Special Edition body kit for the Lamborghini Aventador. Once installed, it makes the opulent Italian supercar look more like the range-topping SVJ, and in some aspects even more hardcore than that. The planned production quantity is 25 units.

The tuner asks for a stock Aventador S (LP740-4) as a donor vehicle, which usually comes powered by a naturally aspirated V12 rated at 740 hp (552 kilowatts) and 690 Nm (515 lb×ft) of torque.

The body kit includes new aprons (both front and rear), a front splitter, larger air intakes, side sill extensions with winglets at both ends, a large fixed rear wing and an enormous rear diffuser. To minimize drag, Onyx Concept also suggests remodeling the rear window.

The show car additionally sports a set of matte-gold forged rims with centerlock nuts, measuring 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear. Regarding their origin, we would assume ADV.1 Wheels, but no official information exists to back this up.

Given their lack of experience with supercar customization (Ferrari F12 notwithstanding), we would say Onyx Concept did a marvelous job here. Wouldn’t you agree?
