YouTube channel Cars Evolution has posted a video dedicated to the route the Lamborghini Aventador has gone through since its initial launch in 2011.
The supercar came out packing a twelve-cylinder engine, 6.5 liters of displacement and 690 metric horsepower (515 kilowatts). It could accelerate all the way to 350 km/h (217 mph).
The Superveloce performance version emerged in 2015, bringing in 740 hp (552 kW) at the crank. In 2016, the Aventador S came out with its rear-wheel steering system. It was shortly followed by the 760hp (567kW) Jota. The Aventador series has also spawned numerous special editions throughout its life.
Lamborghini actually planned to introduce a successor to the series soon, but latest rumors claim this has been delayed. At the impending Frankfurt show, the Italian luxury vehicle manufacturer will be unveiling a mysterious new car that might as well be the herald of that successor model.
