Lamborghini Squadra Corse, the sports subdivision of Lamborghini, has posted a thirty-second long video on its YouTube channel demonstrating some close-ups of an Aventador-based racecar that will only debut in 2021.
Judging by the video, the dedicated track tool will be little like its road-going counterpart. This includes brand-new looks and a purpose-designed body kit, which includes a roof scoop, a complex rear wing, and an enormous front splitter. The standard lighting will also have to go, of course.
Aside from this, the Aventador by Lamborghini Squadra Corse wears the number 63 on its body – a reference to the year the company was founded, as well as high-end Formula wheels, low-profile Pirelli rubber, and heavy-duty Brembo brakes.
Rumor has it the racing car will come powered by a 6.5-liter V12 engine boosted to deliver 830 hp (620 kW) to the wheels by means of a six-speed Xtrac sequential transmission.
