This camouflaged Lambo Aventador might be heralding the coming of a maxed-out farewell edition.
The body is nearly identical to that of the Aventador S. The exhaust system and the diffuser stem from the SVJ lineup, but the trademark rear wing is missing.
Rumor has it the new car will be called SJ and will become the marque’s most powerful ICE car in production, surpassing the SVJ with its 770 PS (759 HP / 566 kW). It will allegedly arrive to the market packing a special aerodynamic kit and emerge in a run of as many as 700 units, despite earlier rumors about only 100 units.
The Italian sports car maker has plans for two more V12-based new vehicles this year, one of which is presented in the video here. The other one could be a unique supercar built for a special customer or a new, part-electric Aventador edition.
We will only know for sure when Lamborghini feels like it. Company CEO Stephan Winkelmann mentioned intentions to produce at least three hybrid supercars in the near future, but never gave any detail.
