Lamborghini reveals two Korean Special Aventador roadsters

The Italian carmaker has worked together with its dealership based in South Korea to produce a unique car duo named the Aventador S Roadster Korean Special, inspired by the culture and traditions of that country.

One of the cars comes finished in purplish blue and the other one in turquoise. The former is said to symbolize ‘wisdom and intelligence’ and the latter ‘warm feelings’. The lighter cabin references one of the self-descriptions of the Korean people: ‘people in white clothes’.

The exteriors are adorned with crossing straight lines, a famous Korean ornament, while the engine lids bear depictions of two out of four traditional trigrams found on the country’s national flag. These stand for ‘wisdom’ and ‘justice’.

The technical filling stays the same. The stock Aventador S Roadster (see video) makes use of a 6.5-liter V12 good for 740 PS (730 hp / 544 kW) and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque. An ISR seven-speed transmission takes it 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in three seconds flat, to 200 km/h (124 mph) in about nine seconds, and ultimately to 350 km/h (217 mph).
