Lamborghini to auction off its last Aventador along with a unique NFT

Lamborghini will be putting its final Aventador example up for auction, and the winning bidder will be getting a unique non-fungible token with their purchase.

The farewell-saying LP780-4 Ultimae Edition debuted in summer 2021 with a 6.5-liter V12 under the hood tuned to 780 PS (769 hp / 574 kW) and 720 Nm (531 lb-ft) of torque. It can sprint from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.8 seconds and hit 355 km/h (220 mph). Rear-wheel steering and new body kit are also its unique strengths, and the curb weight is as low as 1,550 kilos (3,417 pounds). The production run includes 350 coupes and 250 roadsters.

As for the NFT, it is for a virtual painting by Krista Kim with a background music by DJ Steve Aoki. In addition to it, the owner will be getting a special greeting and an invitation to a tour around the Lamborghini Museum.

The first time an NFT was bundled with a real car was last year, when the one-off Lykan HyperSport went on sale after surviving a Fast & Furious movie shoot, a feat not many cars can boast.
