Lamborghini says its final goodbye to the Aventador… yes, again

Remember the disastrous fire that sunk the Felicity Ace bulk cargo ship in mid-February? The accident claimed lives of 15 Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae, forcing the automaker to restart the conveyor belts one last time. The final car rolled off the line last month and was delivered, but not before Lamborghini could photograph it from every angle.

The gallery depicts the Aventador Ultimae sitting next to a Miura P400, its main source of inspiration. There are even Miura badges on the body and inside the Alcantara-wrapped cabin. The main trim color is Nero Ade black, contrasted by Bianco Leda stitching.

With this page of its history finally closed, Lamborghini is now looking forward to an electric future. The successor to the supercar will still run on a V12, but it will be a brand-new engine designed from the ground up to work in tandem with an electric motor and a traction battery.
