Lamborghini’s fastest supercar looks like a time traveler

A blogger named Whitesse has recently posted an image on his Facebook page showing what he claims is the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster, company’s strongest and fastest-going vehicle of all time. However, we cannot be sure whether this is what the car really looks like or the photo has been edited.

The grand Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster is rumored to come equipped with a 6.5-liter supercharged V12 engine capable of 800 hp (600 kW). Reportedly, its creators had to rework the transmission from the ground up and make the body as lightweight as possible before it could rightfully claim the title of the fastest-going Lamborghini vehicle.

The mass-issue Aventador came with a 750-horsepower (560 kW) engine that could accelerate it to 100 km/h (62 mph) in trifling 2.5 seconds. The entire batch was sold out completely a year ago.

Lamborghini has been using the SVJ suffix to denote high-performance cars since 1970s. The first vehicle to receive it was the track-only Lamborghini Miura, which conformed to the FIA J racing requirements and was released in only 6 copies.
