Lamborghini has posted an official video showing its camouflage-clad Aventador SVJ sport coupe running circles on the North Loop of the Nürburgring Circuit. For those who didn’t remember, the letters stand for “Super Veloce Jota”.
According to anonymous sources, the car will enter the market armed with a 6.5-liter V12 engine exceeding 800 hp (600 kW).
The sporty vehicle will offer reworked transmission, an all-carbon body and an active body kit similar to that of the Huracan Performante. The manufacturer hasn’t disclosed any further details so far.
The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ should premiere sometime in 2018.
The SVJ abbreviation references the classical Miura 400 Jota racecar, which was built in a single copy by Lamborghini ex-driver Bob Wallace more than 40 years ago.
