The Italian carmaker has filmed its upcoming track-only hypercar, co-designed with Centro Stile and Squadra Corse, in action just before the whole country went into quarantine mode.
The official documentation refers to the racer as ‘Lamborghini V12’, though media used to refer to it informally as the Aventador SVR. It comes based on the same platform as the street-legal SVJ and packs a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine with 830 hp (620 kW) at the output end.
Compared side-by-side with the SVJ, the track projectile sports a roof scoop, a larger rear wing, and a front bumper with a splitter and canards. It also features a limited-slip differential gear.
