Mecum will hold an auction during the Monterey Car Week dedicated to an ultra-rare Lamborghini Centenario LP770-4. Only 29 such vehicles were produced and sold for almost €1,800,000 each.
The auction copy only has 80 kilometers on its odometer. Its starting price hasn’t been revealed yet.
The opulent coupe was introduced at the Geneva International Motor Show two years ago to celebrate 100 years from the birthday of Ferruccio Lamborghini.
The car is a carbon monocoque with the body and the aerodynamic kit made of the same material. It has 4WD, pushrod suspension, and an electronically-controlled rear wing.
The hood cover of the Lamborghini Centenario LP770-4 conceals a 6.5L V12 engine with 770 hp (574 kW). The car accelerates to 100 km/h (60 mph) in less than three seconds.
