Unique Lamborghini Countach goes up on sale with barely any mileage

An auction will be held in Kenilworth, Warwickshire, England on February 21-23, 2020 dedicated to a unique Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary Edition with only 3,970 miles (6,390 km) under its belt.

The Countach series started rolling off the assembly line in the early 1970s and has stayed in production for more than a quarter of a century. Lamborghini has only produced fewer than 2,000 units all in all, essentially making them collector’s pieces.

This particular right-hand-drive specimen was produced in 1990 and bought by an English exotic vehicle collector who already had a 1975 Countach LP400 Periscopio in his collection. The man ordered the new car painted the exact same shade of orange (Arancio Miura) as his old one. The company did not offer this color for the Countach at the time, but it decided to make an exception for the loyal brand fan.

The 25th Anniversary Edition builds upon the 5000QV spec and comes powered by a 5.2-liter V12 engine good for 455 hp (339 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque.

A quarter of a century ago, the collector packed the luxury coupe away for long-term storage. In 2017, Colin Clarke Engineering did some maintenance on it, replacing the fuel system and the brakes, which allegedly cost the owner £17,600. The description also mentions that the car still has its original Pirelli tires.
