This ultra-rare Lambo Countach with periscopic rear glass could be yours for $1M

A highly interesting auction lot has surfaced in the USA: a Lamborghini Countach LP400 Periscopica, the first out of only 158 produced units, shaped like a coupe with a unique arrangement at the rear end. Be warned, however, that the owner wants $1,000,000 USD for it.

The supercar debuted at the 1971 Geneva International Motor Show as the marque’s first vehicle with a longitudinally mounted engine. It also boasted a unique rear glass design resembling a periscope – hence the name.

Powering the exotic ride is a naturally aspirated 3.9-liter V12 engine rated at 370 hp (276 kW). A five-speed manual transmission sends the momentum to the wheels, enabling a sprint from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in under five seconds. The top speed, quite impressively, lies at 316 km/h (196.4 mph).
